EDITORIAL MESSAGE

International Journal of Early Childhood, Special and Inclusive Education (IJECSIE)

Volume 1, Issue 1, 2026

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we present the inaugural issue of the International Journal of Early Childhood, Special and Inclusive Education (IJECSIE), Volume 1, Issue 1, 2026. This landmark publication signifies a meaningful step toward advancing scholarly discourse, evidence-based practice, and innovative research in the fields of early childhood education, special education, and inclusive education across diverse educational contexts worldwide.

The establishment of IJECSIE is founded on the belief that every learner deserves equitable access to quality education regardless of ability, background, culture, language, or circumstance. As educational systems continue to evolve in response to global challenges and emerging learner needs, the demand for research-informed policies and practices that promote inclusion, diversity, and educational excellence has become increasingly important. This journal serves as a platform for researchers, educators, policymakers, practitioners, and advocates to share knowledge, generate meaningful dialogue, and contribute to the transformation of educational systems that embrace all learners.

The articles featured in this inaugural issue reflect the breadth and depth of contemporary scholarship in early childhood, special, and inclusive education. Collectively, they explore innovative pedagogical approaches, inclusive classroom practices, learner support mechanisms, educational leadership, family engagement, curriculum development, teacher preparedness, and policies that foster equitable learning opportunities. These studies provide valuable insights that can guide educational stakeholders in creating learning environments where every child is valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their full potential.

We recognize that inclusive education extends beyond physical access to classrooms. It embodies a commitment to participation, belongingness, respect for diversity, and the removal of barriers that hinder learning and development. Likewise, early childhood education serves as a critical foundation for lifelong learning, while special education continues to play a vital role in ensuring that learners with diverse needs receive appropriate support and opportunities for growth. Through this journal, we seek to bridge research and practice by disseminating studies that contribute to more responsive, inclusive, and sustainable educational systems.

As we launch this first volume, we extend our sincere gratitude to the authors who entrusted us with their scholarly work, the reviewers whose expertise ensured the quality and rigor of the published manuscripts, and the members of the Editorial and Advisory Boards whose commitment and guidance made this publication possible. Their collective efforts have established a strong foundation for the journal's future growth and academic excellence.

We invite researchers and practitioners from around the world to join us in this scholarly endeavor by contributing innovative research, sharing best practices, and engaging in critical conversations that advance the fields of early childhood, special, and inclusive education. Together, we can foster educational environments that celebrate diversity, promote equity, and uphold the right of every learner to receive quality education.

On behalf of the Editorial Board, we proudly present Volume 1, Issue 1 (2026) of the International Journal of Early Childhood, Special and Inclusive Education and look forward to the meaningful contributions this journal will make to educational research, policy, and practice in the years ahead.
