Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript should not be offered simultaneously to other journals. Manuscript should be submitted in English . Regular papers should not exceed 5000-6000 words, short communications 1800-2000 words, and mini-reviews should not exceed 3000 words (excluding abstract and references), 5 figures and tables combined and about 30 references. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. Authors wishing to submit a mini-review or review are advised to contact Editor-in-Chief to discuss potential interest.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • Manuscripts will be -reviewed by two internal and one external reviewers. Authors are invited to submit a copy of manuscript (soft copies). When revisions are required, the authors should mark the amendments and changes in the manuscript. (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

Author Guidelines

Manuscript Structure:

1- A full length research paper should be arranged in the following sections: Title, Authors and addresses; Abstract; Key words; Introduction; Methodology; Results, Discussion, Summary and Conclusions; Acknowledgement; References (see examples below), Tables, Figure legends and Figures.

2- Title page. This should contain:
a concise and informative title (as short as possible).
a list of authors' names and affiliation.

3- Abstract: should not be exceed 300 words and contains the following information:
The purpose, significance and objective of the study.
The methods used to achieve the objective.
The significant results and conclusions .
The significance of the research project.

4- Key-words. must be written in italics and must up to eight key words only, excluding words appearing in the title, and arranged alphabetically;

5- Introduction- This include a brief statement of the problem and its importance, an investigation and survey of the relevant literature(with citations) and the objectives of the work to be discussed in the paper.

4- Methodology: This section discusses and includes the detailed description of the techniques used together with a broad outline of the experimental procedure.

5- Results, Discussions- Point out the significance of the results in relation to the reasons for doing the work and previous studies. This section may be combined and may contain subheadings; the results must be arranged according to the arrangement of the objectives of the research.Sub-heading or sub sectioning is encouraged for systematic and easier reading

6- Summary and Conclusion- this section contains synopsis of the research and includes objectives of the research paper, brief procedures, techniques used and the scientific findings. This section usually accompanied with recommendation based on drawn conclusion based on summarized results.
7- Conclusion: State the implications of the study.

8- Acknowledgement- straight and direct to the point.

9- Citations and References: Use the APA 7th edition referencing.

10- Tables, Figure legends and Figures- Tables and Figures should be submitted on separate pages. Système International(SI) units should be used, e.g: mg, g, km, m, cm,mm,ppm,cpm,Ci (Curie), l (litre), ml, s (second), min (minute), h (hour), mol, m-3, use mg l-1, not mg/l. All non-standard abbreviation should be defined in full on one page following the abstract and when first mentioned in the text. Species names are written in Italics. They are, except in taxonomic papers, given without authorities. Digital photos should be of high contrast and of highest possible resolution.
